The she shot and he shot of the red tin jar filled with pine tree clippings

The pine trees that lined the front drive way decided collectively to grow droopy middle branches over the past few weeks.

Today droopy branches were trimmed away from the trees and became pine tree clippings on the ground.

A few lucky ones ended up in this red tin jar on my night stand.

I took a shot of it and were surprised that the dreamy cloud wall color came through better in a photo than in real life.

Hongfei didn’t like my photo so he took another one.

OK! better lightening, better details and maybe also better proportion.

But what happened to lavender, the lamb?

Long Time Sun

At my very first kundalini practice, the instructor played this song during cool down.
She played it twice, then invited us to sing along with her.

It was so beautiful. I cried.

May the long time sun shine upon you
All love surround you
And the pure light that’s within you
Guide your way on

Here is a quote from a youTube comment:

May the long time sun shine” came into the tradition of Kundalini Yoga, because band members of the “Incredible String Band” attended a lecture with Yogi Bhajan in London and donated this song to him during a talk they had with him afterwards.
The text “May The Long Time Sun…” was not written by the “Incredible String Band”, but was used originally in Ireland in the middle ages as a blessing for people, who started a long journey.
